Hello Everyone!

Welcome to IMS Ceramics Studio and Gallery by Iona May Stock
 

I am a contemporary ceramic artist and teacher working predominantly in my Studio and Gallery, Nawton Beadlam near Helmsley. Currently an artist in residence at Giggleswick School.

Focusing on texture, colour and form with inspiration derived from lichens. 

 

Functionality is very important to me, as using lovely items everyday is a valuable and enriching experience.

However recently my work has been becoming more sculptural with a new range of pieces incorporating embroidery, crochet and fabrics.
